My name is Stuart and I am the guy behind this little website.
I have a background as a financial adviser in the UK and then as an Investment Consultant to expatriates on mainland Europe. Because of this background, I have sat – and passed – a number of professional qualifications that relate to personal finance generally, investment planning and mortgages. For almost two years, I also used to write a personal finance column for an international weekly that focuses on politics.
I’m telling you these things because I want you to understand that while I am not a world renowned investment expert, I am knowledgable and experienced in the stock market.

As you can see from other parts of this site, I built it because I was both impressed and grateful to have found a source of information that provided a true stock market education. I do my best on my own site, but it is really aimed at investors rather than traders.
There is a massive difference in approach between long-term investment and short-term stock trading and people that really understand one method will often not understand the other so well.
